& Returns.
1. Change of mind
For consumer orders where French/EU withdrawal rights apply, you may notify us of withdrawal within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Mandatory rights in your location remain unaffected.
2. How to request a return
Send a clear withdrawal statement identifying the order and your contact details to hello@matchacitea.com. An authorisation number is not a condition of exercising statutory withdrawal rights. Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us, to 6 RUE PORTAL, 81600 GAILLAC, France. Keep proof of posting.
3. Product condition
Handle items only as needed to inspect them. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by excessive handling, where the law allows. An opened tea package does not automatically cancel every statutory right. Any lawful exception for a specific product must be explained before purchase; no blanket “all food sales are final” rule applies here.
4. Return costs
Under this policy, customers pay ordinary change-of-mind return postage, provided this is clearly disclosed before purchase. We cover applicable return costs for goods that are faulty or supplied incorrectly. The worldwide free-shipping offer concerns outbound standard delivery.
5. Refunds
For a valid withdrawal, reimbursement is made without undue delay and within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. We may withhold it until the goods or proof of return are received, whichever occurs first. Refunds use the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without charge. Refunds include any refundable standard outbound delivery charge; express surcharges need not be refunded. We do not replace a monetary refund with compulsory store credit.
6. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Contact customer service with your order details. Photographs can help us assess damage, but do not replace your legal rights. Statutory conformity and defect remedies remain available independently of the change-of-mind period.
